Excavator Operator

Excavator Operator Pay: $35-$42/hr based on experience Travel: Extensive Overnight Travel required Summary: An established underground construction contractor is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support utility installation and trenchless operations across regional projects. Key Responsibilities:Operate track excavators and related heavy equipment on utility construction sitesPerform excavation, material handling, loading/unloading, and riggingExecute deep excavations using trench boxes, shoring systems, and sheetingMaintain safe excavation practices, including protection of personnel and existing utilitiesConduct daily equipment inspections and follow all site safety requirementsWork closely with field supervision to complete work safely and efficiently Qualifications:5+ years of excavator or heavy equipment operating experienceAbility to read plans and adapt to field conditionsStrong safety awareness and team-oriented mindsetValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting to 50 lbs.
