Excavator OperatorLocation: Baltimore, Maryland Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite onsite Hours: 40.0ResponsibilitiesOperate track excavators and related heavy equipment on utility construction sitesPerform excavation, material handling, loading/unloading, and riggingExecute deep excavations using trench boxes, shoring systems, and sheetingMaintain safe excavation practices, including protection of personnel and existing utilitiesConduct daily equipment inspections and follow all site safety requirementsWork closely with field supervision to complete work safely and efficientlyRequirements5+ years of excavator or heavy equipment operating experienceAbility to read plans and adapt to field conditionsStrong safety awareness and team-oriented mindsetValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting to 50 lbs.Travel to project sites required, including overnight staysWork primarily throughout Maryland and surrounding areasSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joul and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
