This role requires advanced clinical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to perform in a high-acuity surgical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSurgical SupportAssist in cardiovascular and open-heart surgical proceduresPrepare operating room, instruments, and equipment for surgeryMaintain sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocolsPatient CareProvide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing careMonitor patient condition and respond to changes during proceduresEnsure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomesCollaboration & TeamworkWork closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teamsCommunicate effectively in high-pressure environmentsSupport overall operating room efficiencyFlexibility & FloatingFloat to other qualified units or facilities as neededPerform duties within demonstrated competenciesCompliance & DocumentationMaintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient careFollow hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirementsRequired QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)Open-heart surgery experience requiredCVOR experience in a hospital settingBLS (Basic Life Support) certification
