Finance Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:Representative work will include advising financial institutions and borrowers on a broad range of complex debt finance matters, including: Asset-based lending transactions Cash flow financings Mezzanine financings High-yield debt transactions Debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings Associates in this role will also support the firms general corporate and M&A practices, providing financing support for transactional matters and working alongside senior attorneys on deal structuring, documentation, and execution. QUALIFICATIONS:23 years of experience at a law firm, preferably in finance, banking, or capital markets Admission to the Massachusetts Bar Experience handling debt finance and capital markets transactions Familiarity with Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, including securing and perfecting liens Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with deal teams
