Data Center Technician III Up to $25/hour Contract Length: 9+ months with potential extension opportunities Location: Onsite in Tacoma, WA Our client is a nationally respected healthcare organization focused on improving care for individuals managing chronic and complex health conditions. They are currently seeking a skilled Data Center Technician III to support critical infrastructure operations within a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with enterprise server hardware, cabling, and data center systems while contributing to the reliability and performance of mission-critical technology operations. Hereâ€TMs what youâ€TMll be doing:Install, rack, cable, label, and maintain server hardware and related infrastructure equipment within enterprise data center environmentsMonitor environmental systems and physical infrastructure to ensure optimal operational performance and uptimeTroubleshoot, document, and assist in resolving issues affecting data center operations and equipment functionalityMaintain accurate hardware inventories, maintenance records, and device tracking information using data center management toolsParticipate in after-hours support rotations and respond to on-call operational needs as required Hereâ€TMs what our ideal candidate has:2â€"4 years of hands-on experience supporting data center operations or enterprise infrastructure environmentsStrong understanding of server hardware, structured cabling, and data center architecture conceptsAbility to follow documented procedures with accuracy and consistencyExperience working with confidential or sensitive information while exercising sound judgment and discretionPhysical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, reaching, climbing ladders, and repetitive movement throughout the workday Preferred Qualifications:CompTIA A+ certification or similar technical certificationsExposure to Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platformsCertifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), CNCI, BICSI, or Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA)Experience supporting network cabling installation or infrastructure deployment projectsWillingness to travel between regional data center locations as needed About Us: This job posting is from a family of recruiting agencies: Access Data, Agile Resources, Paladin Consulting, and SNI Technology.
