Job Title: Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of RN ICU acute care experience License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association only) - ACLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Strong critical thinking, communication and organizational skills Description: This role focuses on providing specialized nursing and medical care for critically ill neuro patients. The patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. The position is within a brand new state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU unit. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. They should also be able to remain current in their knowledge of critical care.
