Job PostingUnder routine supervision, uses entry level knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or training to assist in providing support in specific Operations activities within Raymond James Investment Management. Follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and receives guidance and direction to perform other non-routine tasks with limited decision-making responsibility. Resolves most questions and problems and refers new or unusual issues to a higher level. Routine contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts and information.Responsibilities:Assists in maintaining multiple variations to the core operations processAssist with opening new accounts, processing cash deposits and withdrawalsAssists in the responsibility of maintaining a variety of sponsor relationshipsIdentifies and notifies traders of events that affect tradingContacts internal and external customers to assist in resolving trading problems as directedEstablishes, updates, and maintains records on data management systems, as requiredOperates standard office equipment and uses required software applicationsPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assignedKnowledge of:Office practices, procedures, and methodsBasic concepts, practices and procedures of securities tradingBasic accounting principles and proceduresSkill in:Organizational and time management sufficient to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlinesComposing and editing correspondence and documentationUpdating and maintaining information systemsMaintaining data management systemsOperating standard office equipment and using required software applications, sufficient to create documents, spreadsheets, and business correspondence.Ability to:Work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing of prioritiesRead, interpret, analyze and apply transaction informationCommunicate effectively, both orally and in writing with associates, and internal and external customersWork independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentHandle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional mannerAssists in the responsibility of maintaining a variety of sponsor relationshipsEducation/Previous Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) year of experience in the financial services industry preferredOR ~ Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training approved by Human ResourcesGeneral Experience - 13 months to 3 yearsTravel: Less than 25%Workstyle: HybridAt Raymond James our associates use five guiding behaviors (Develop, Collaborate, Decide, Deliver, Improve) to deliver on the firm's core values of client-first, integrity, independence and a conservative, long-term view.
