Job Posting Position: Project Manager Job Type: Full-time Location: Minnesota or Remote Position Description RAMTeCH Software Solutions is a global leader specializing in geospatial (GIS) technology and engineering solutions for utilities (electric and gas distribution & transmission networks), telecommunications, and government organizations. RAMTeCH offers a full range of services in the areas of data management, migration, integration, application development, and consulting to help our utility clients successfully plan, implement, and support GIS technology and data. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a variety of GIS projects. The position requires knowledge of GIS, relational databases, and computer-based technologies within the utility industry. Position Requirements Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects that meet budget, scope, and schedule objectives while maintaining profitability Technical leadership experience required, with ability to orchestrate project activities and lead high - performing cross functional teams Minimum of 3 years of electric or gas experience with GIS (i.e., Esri, Smallworld, Intergraph, etc.) and Esri Utility Network. Additional experience with Schneider Electric ArcFM and/or VertiGIS is a plus. Utility Domain Knowledge of how asset data is structured and ways integrated solutions interact with GIS including OMS, ADMS, DERMs, Work Management, Engineering Analysis, Field Mobility, and Customer information Systems Minimum 3 years’ IT project management experience with the implementation of IT infrastructure, software, data transformation solutions, and strategic consulting projects Formal Project Management training is desired. PMI PMP certification and/or CSM is preferred Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet, PPM Solutions, Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or other similar project management solutions Strong working knowledge of SDLC practices and procedures with experience leading and executing projects to completion using waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies A clear understanding of defining a fully sequenced complex project plan, critical path management, and project staffing Responsibilities Lead highly technical Utility GIS and Graphic Work Design transformation projects with clients Establish effective, collaborative working relationships with clients, US and offshore team members , and leadership Communicate weekly project status with clients, senior management, sales, and PMO regarding project scope, budget, schedule, deliverables, quality, and client relationship Develop and manage detailed project plans to approved scope/schedule, and tracking; evaluate variances in the project delivery schedule and recommend/implement corrective measures Maintain project tracking tools to document project progress and status in accordance with PMO guidelines Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals, invoicing, and collections to achieve increased profitability Proactively identify risks and issues and provide mitigation strategy/contingency plans where necessary Monitor the productivity of the US and offshore teams to improve delivery timelines and quality Build a unified team environment to encourage team collaboration and knowledge sharing Work with leadership and peers to identify and recommend process improvements/enhancements (CPI) Coordinate project startup, lead workshops, architecture / design, development, and implementation activities (US & Offshore) Assist in the development of project methodologies and estimates for proposals, ROMs, POCs, etc. Assist sales in developing and presenting solutions to potential clients Experience and Education Required Experience: Three years of proven successful relevant project management experience in the electric and gas utility industry, with preference implementing Esri ArcGIS solutions Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferred Experience: Three years of electric and gas utility and Esri ArcGIS Additional Job Details Travel: ~ 35% • Position and Salary: Commensurate with experience and PMP Certification • Work Authorization: US Citizen required Join a global network of 3000+ high-caliber people, including an actively expanding North America operation, who collaborate and share an enthusiasm for successful project delivery.
