Buyer, Women’s We are seeking a Buyer, Women’s RTW for a freelance opportunity with a well-known fashion company. This role will support key categories across Swim, Intimates, and Denim, with a focus on building compelling assortments that align with brand vision, customer demand, and business goals.The ideal candidate has strong buying experience within women’s apparel, a sharp eye for trend, and the ability to use business insights to drive category performance. Experience working across Swim, Intimates, and Denim is highly preferred.Key Responsibilities:Manage buying activities across Women’s RTW, supporting Swim, Intimates, and Denim categoriesDevelop assortments that balance trend, customer demand, and financial objectivesAnalyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to inform buying decisionsPartner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, and related teamsIdentify opportunities in assortment architecture, pricing, and product mixSupport market appointments, vendor partnerships, and product selectionQualifications:Experience in buying, preferably within Women’s Ready-to-WearBackground in or exposure to Swim, Intimates, and Denim categories preferredStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent trend awareness and understanding of the contemporary customerStrong communication, organization, and collaboration skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Details:Freelance assignment expected to last 6 months to startHybrid schedule in Cerritos, CA with 3 days onsitePotential for extension or longer-term opportunity
