This role encompasses oversight and execution of environmental studies, field investigations, data interpretation, and high-level regulatory and technical support aligned with the department's focus areas. The position plays a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of projects across air, water, and waste programs, while actively strengthening client relationships and contributing to the strategic growth of service offerings.This position requires deep knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and industry best practices, along with the ability to exercise independent professional judgment on complex issues. The Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist is responsible for full lifecycle project management-from scoping and proposal development through execution and closeout-with a strong emphasis on leadership, client engagement, budget and schedule accountability, and delivery of high-quality results.The role includes independently managing complex and high-profile projects, mentoring junior staff, supporting business development initiatives, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. Collaboration with subject matter experts, project directors, and operational leadership is essential to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-15+ years of professional environmental experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility and leadership in consulting or related fields.
