Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, a leading provider of commercial building maintenance services, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting multiple properties in the Richmond, VA area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician Location: Richmond, VA What's the Job? Support the operational maintenance of 10 to 15 commercial buildings in the Richmond, VA area. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, and pumps. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper functioning of complex building systems. Utilize company-provided tools and vehicle to visit properties and address maintenance needs. Document work performed using CMMS systems and maintain accurate records of equipment history and repairs. What's Needed? 0-2 years of experience in general maintenance or a related field. Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills; familiarity with Building Management Systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and climbing.
