COMMERCIAL JUNIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Description Position Description: COMMERCIAL JUNIOR SERVICE TECHNICIANWe are seeking skilled Junior Commercial Service Technicians to join our team in the HVAC, ALS (Air Handling Systems), and Refrigeration sectors who are ready to grow into skilled Field Technicians. This role offers hands on experience in refrigeration, commercial cooking, HVAC, and ice machine repair with a clear path for advancement to a 3rd year technician position. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced technologies while providing top-quality service to our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs such as replacing compressors, evaporators, and condensing unitsCleaning and servicing ice machinesCompleting quoted parts replacements and preventative maintenance inspectionsClear and concise communication skills to:Identify and report the contact person on siteExplain the reason for service and findings to the client at job completionMaintain a clean, organized company vehicle and keep truck inventory currentRequirements:Comprehensive knowledge of basic refrigeration, commercial cooking, HVAC, and ice machine repair including reach-in refrigerators and freezers; walk-in coolers and basic walk-in freezers; tier 2 cooking equipment; tier 2 HVAC equipment; ice machines and dispensersPossess and maintain necessary hand tools to perform job duties, including but not limited to adjustable wrenches, linesman pliers, six-in-one screwdriver, service wrench, combination wrenches, allen key set, refrigerant gauges, flaring tools, torch setup, and digital meterMust-Haves:Positive attitude, highly organized and energeticValid drivers license with good driving recordMinimum Type 2 EPA CertificationMust pass company drug test and background checkGood personal appearance and the physical ability to lift 50+ poundsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Engaging personality for our fast paced, goal driven environmentCompetitive individual contributor who loves to win as a teamHighly motivated, self-starter whos flexible with a great attitudeBenefits:Hourly rate based on experience and company growth potentialFactory training and developmentAdvancement supervisory programHealth insurance, as well as Life insuranceDental, Vision, and 401K planVacation and sick paid time offPaid holidaysReferral & Bonus ProgramsProfessional development assistance$20.00 - $30.00 Hourly
