CAE Engineer

Our client, a leader in automotive innovation, is seeking a dedicated CAE Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a CAE Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Vehicle NVH department supporting the development of advanced noise, vibration, and harshness solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for engineering excellence, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CAE Engineer Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range: $100 per hour + Benefits What's the Job? Build and maintain high fidelity NVH CAE models of vehicle structures and components. Lead virtual vehicle structure and component development activities for NVH attributes in close collaboration with project teams. Coordinate with test engineers to ensure virtual models accurately correlate with physical test data. Execute virtual Design Verification Plans (DVPs), generate concise reports, and implement design countermeasures. Utilize optimization tools to balance performance, weight, and cost targets effectively. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. At least 8 years of CAE NVH development experience in the automotive or related industry. Expert knowledge of ANSA, METAPOST, and OPTISTRUCT software tools. Proficiency in linear structural and vibro-acoustic analysis methods applied to vehicle applications. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop effective solutions efficiently.
