Ericsson also does not hire F-1's working on CPT or EAD for this position.About This OpportunityThe Technical Trainer reports to the Production Training Manager within the Operations team at the US 5G Smart Factory. This role is essential to developing the front-line workforce by facilitating knowledge sharing, cross-functional communication, safety practices, and collaborative problem-solving to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Success requires strong communication abilities, leadership skills, training expertise, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and compliance within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position supports the Warehouse functional area, working night shift—Monday through Thursday from 5:30pm-4:00am.What You Will DoDeliver targeted and general training to operators within the assigned functional areaTrain, coach, and mentor team members to build capabilities and support continuous process improvementCreate training solutions in collaboration with supervisors, engineers, quality leads, operations management, and Learning Experience DesignersWork with Subject Matter Experts to validate the skills and expertise of operational employeesEnsure all programs and processes align with industry best practices, including ISO competence standards and Ericsson Environmental Health & Occupational Safety requirementsMaintain training plans, content accuracy, and reporting through the Learning Management SystemCoordinate and communicate training schedules with stakeholders, operations leadership, production planners, and the training teamMaintain training equipment, including laptops and specialized tools or materialsRepresent operator perspectives during work instruction reviews to ensure documentation meets end-user needsSupport cross-functional communication and safety compliance to drive operational excellenceProvide expert support to production teams when availableThe Skills You BringHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilitiesAbility to lead, coach, and motivate others with a commitment to producing high-quality workStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret equipment documentation, operational work instructions, and process mapsProficiency in Microsoft applications and basic Learning Management System administrationAbility to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environmentsFlexibility to work periodic shift hours as neededExperience collaborating in cross-functional groups with diverse backgroundsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and become certified as a forklift trainerPreferred: Extensive experience in warehouse operations, presenting technical information, hands-on experience with relevant tools and equipment, and familiarity with environmental and safety complianceWhat happens once you apply?Click Here to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.Ericsson uses a merit-based hiring approach that values people with different experiences, perspectives and skillsets.
