Position Overview:A warehouse associate is responsible for performing day-to-day operations of the warehouse including order picking, shipping, receiving, packaging, cycle counting, upholding safety and maintaining the warehouse. Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties and Responsibilities:Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, logistic companies and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information in a timely manner.Assists in maintaining warehouse related tools and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Communicate needed supplies to supervisor.Contribute to 5s activities. Understand Sales order and Work Order picking, Receiving, Packaging, Returns, and Shipping processes.Receive, store, manage and restock supplies (boxes. labels, transfers sheets, ETC.) Primary duties can include pulling, packing, preparing for shipment, inspecting, cycle counting, re-packing, receiving and processing returns. Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.Help investigate inventory issues.Required Skills:Demonstrates a positive attitude and resilience. Adapts positively to pressure, setbacks, challenges and change to achieve and sustain peak effectiveness. Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.Skill of performing basic arithmetic equations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Punctual and reliable.Ability to operate equipment safely and properly: pallet jack.Must be able to work extended hours and weekend as needed.Basic computer knowledge.Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Good verbal and written communication skills. Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year warehouse experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, repeatedly.Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
