Job description:Payroll Systems & Process Specialist (Onsite - Freehold, NJ)About VCSVisual Computer Solutions is committed to delivering innovative solutions while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.Visual Computer Solutions (VCS) is seeking an experienced payroll professional who is interested in expanding their skills into payroll systems, process improvement, and implementation support. This role is ideal for someone with a strong payroll background who enjoys learning new systems and being involved in system enhancements or transitions.What You’ll Do· Support accurate and timely payroll processing· Participate in payroll system setup, configuration, testing, and validation· Assist with payroll system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements· Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to gather payroll and system requirements· Perform parallel testing and support issue resolution· Help document payroll processes, controls, and procedures· Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations· Provide ongoing payroll system support and troubleshootingWhat We’re Looking For· 3+ years of payroll experience (multi-state preferred)· Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals, taxes, and wage & hour compliance· Experience working with payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or similar)· High attention to detail and strong analytical skills· Willingness and ability to learn payroll system implementation concepts· Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyNice to Have· Exposure to payroll implementations, conversions, or upgrades (in any capacity)· Experience with system testing or data validation· HRIS or time & attendance system experience· Process improvement or documentation experienceCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 per yearThe salary range listed is provided in compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws.
