Respiratory TherapistHourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Sign on bonus $10,000 for a 2 year commitment for full time Position: Respiratory Therapist Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL Full Time 36 hours per week OR part time 20-24 hours per week available. Shift: Evenings 3:00pm -11:30pm Travel: No What You Will Need: License: Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required Education: Graduate of an CoARC approved school of respiratory therapy required Certification: CPR (BLS) What You Will Do: Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients Provide patient and staff education About Us Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
