Project Coordinator
Spencer Ogden is supporting one of our clients in their search for a Project Coordinator to support engineering and construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and execution of project and program needs. This position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver administrative support and project solutions.This would start off as a 1-year contract, likely to convert to a permanent position.Key Responsibilities:Act as the liaison between vendors, suppliers, clients, and project teams, ensuring smooth communication and project flow.Research and resolve project-related questions, providing timely and accurate information.Prepare and present meeting notes, progress reports, and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and other relevant tools.Monitor project deadlines and milestones, supporting the delivery of monthly progress reports.Coordinate and facilitate both on-site and off-site project meetings, including orientations, reviews, and team meetings.Manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements and maintaining both electronic and paper files.Process invoices, expense reports, and other documentation with accuracy and in a timely manner.Oversee IT resource needs for project offices, coordinating with internal support departments.Support project closeout activities, AR follow-up, and cost forecasting.Assist the Project Manager with contract preparation and other duties as required.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience, Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 11+ years of experience.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
