DescriptionAssociate Director, Accounts ReceivableThe Associate Director of Accounts Receivable leads AR operations to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, strong financial controls, and efficient cash application. This role partners cross-functionally to optimize processes, support forecasting and close activities, and drive continuous improvement through automation and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the AR/AP team to ensure timely invoicing, collections, payments, and cash applicationEstablish and improve policies, procedures, and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and complianceOversee billing processes, resolve complex customer issues, and maintain pricing systemsManage vendor setup and relationships to prevent payment errors and ensure smooth operationsPrepare AR metrics, cash flow forecasts, and management reporting; support budgeting and month-end closeOversee ERP data integrity and partner on automation initiativesCollaborate with Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Procurement to ensure accurate billing and seamless workflowsServe as escalation point for major customer billing or payment issuesEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements; support internal and external auditsRequirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field8+ years of progressive AR/AP or accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership roleExperience managing teams and end-to-end AR/AP operationsStrong knowledge of GAAP, credit, cash flow management, and procure-to-pay processesHands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday) and advanced Excel skillsCore CompetenciesProven ability to lead process improvements and automation initiativesStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing prioritiesAble to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partnersJob typePerm
