Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) - Contract/Travel

Obstetrical And Gynecological Nurse Provide direct obstetrical and gynecological patient care in a 13-week contract assignment in Salem, Oregon. Work with interdisciplinary teams, maintain documentation in MEDITECH, and manage labor & delivery emergencies. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct obstetrical and gynecological patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for labor and delivery patients. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using MEDITECH charting system. Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, including reading and interpreting EFM strips and managing related equipment. Execute emergency procedures and respond effectively to obstetrical emergencies, ensuring patient safety and compliance with AWHONN guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent. BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications. Minimum of 2 years obstetrical or Labor & Delivery nursing experience. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency with MEDITECH charting system. Benefits: Premium pay 13% above market average with weekly direct deposit.
