Surgical Tech Location: Walla Walla, WA Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $2,412 to $2,526 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center. The CST will play a critical role in the operating room, ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties. This position requires strong scrub experience, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures Scrub and assist in a variety of surgeries including orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, ENT, OB/GYN, and plastics Ensure proper handling of instruments, equipment, and surgical supplies Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocols Assist with patient positioning, draping, and intraoperative needs Handle specimens according to protocol Support surgical team before, during, and after procedures Work Environment 5 Operating Rooms Patient population: Neonates to geriatrics Daily surgical volume: ~30 cases Interdisciplinary collaboration with PT, RT, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more Call & Scheduling Details On-call required with 20-minute response time Flexible scheduling based on department needs No block scheduling Facility Highlights Short-Term Acute Care Facility Level III Trauma Center 100 staffed beds No parking fees Charting system: Epic Requirements Minimum 1 year of CST experience (travel experience required) Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification NBSTSA certification (preferred) Washington State License (required) BLS certification Proficiency in scrubbing multiple specialties, including: Orthopedics (total joints & trauma) General surgery Neuro/spine Vascular OB/GYN (including C-sections) ENT and plastics Benefits Local pay rate: $50 to $54 per hour Auto offer Bonus opportunities
