Global Logistics Sales Agent

Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities within the logistics and transportation sectors. Manage existing client accounts by providing exceptional service, understanding their supply chain needs, and offering customized transportation solutions. Negotiate contracts, freight pricing, and service agreements with carriers, 3PL providers (Third-Party Logistics), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other transportation partners. Lead lead generation efforts through market research, cold calling, networking, and leveraging data analytics to identify potential clients. Coordinate transportation planning activities including dispatching freight, managing carrier sales, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations where applicable. Collaborate with internal teams on logistics sales strategies, supply chain management initiatives, and contract negotiations to maximize revenue growth. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics sales with a focus on B2B environments. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, EDI protocols, and AS400 systems. Demonstrated ability in account management, negotiation, and developing long-term customer relationships. Familiarity with freight forwarding, logistics sales strategies, carrier sales processes, and transportation planning. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead negotiations effectively and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Experience working within regulated environments such as FDA regulations is a plus. Ability to analyze data for lead generation opportunities and optimize pricing strategies for freight services.
