Sales Manager

Overview Seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead revenue growth initiatives within the logistics and supply chain sector. This role is responsible for driving new business development, managing key client relationships, and guiding sales strategy across a full suite of logistics services, including customs brokerage, ocean and air freight, road transportation, warehousing, and cross-border operations.Key Responsibilities • Drive new business acquisition and expand the customer portfolio within the logistics market • Build, manage, and grow strategic client relationships to support long-term revenue and retention • Lead sales efforts across services including customs brokerage, ocean freight, air freight, road freight, warehousing, and cross-border logistics • Evaluate client needs and develop tailored, end-to-end supply chain solutions • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategy • Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations • Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction • Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-border logistics, regulatory requirements, and international shipping challengesQualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain sales, with a consistent track record of success • Demonstrated experience selling customs brokerage, freight forwarding (air and ocean), transportation, warehousing, and cross-border solutions • Strong understanding of supply chain operations and solution-based selling methodologies • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools • Established network within the logistics industry preferred • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferredCore Competencies • Strategic thinking and problem solving • Attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong verbal and written communication • Leadership and decision-making capability • Initiative and results-driven mindset • Customer-focused approachWork Environment and Schedule This role operates in a professional office environment and follows a full-time, exempt schedule, typically Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility as business needs require.Physical Requirements Regular communication and computer use are required, along with occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds.Additional Information • Occasional travel may be required • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Responsibilities may evolve based on business needsCompensation and Benefits • Base salary plus commission structure • Health, dental, and vision benefits • Paid time off and holidays
