Job Description (SM0624)Job Title: Store ManagerDepartment: TrailersPlus Sales & Lot OperationsReports To: District ManagerStatus Non-exempt: Hourly plus commission and bonusStatus Exempt: Weekly salary plus commission and bonusSummaryThe Store Manager (SM) supervises and manages all aspects of the general operations of the store, ensuring company policiesare followed, and generating revenue to meet all sales goals.Responsible for planning and promoting the daily schedules of store and employees, participating in the hiring process,coordinating and discipline employees, making sure the store is stocked, clean and in proper working order, understands andmaintains sales goals, coordinates with and reports to senior management in the company.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Implement and enforce all aspects of “Employee Handbook”.Ensure the highest quality of the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase.Reconcile all monies received and/or deposited daily (petty cash, credit cards, deposits, financing) and submitappropriate documents to appropriate departments and financial institutions.Maintain time cards, ensure they are up-to-date with start and end times as well as appropriate breaks are scheduled.Meet all deadlines for daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, and annually reports.Manage and perform all daily processes that include trailer sales, parts sales, service work, inventory control, partspurchases, vendor relations, special orders, and pricing.Possess a working knowledge of all TrailersPlus products and dealership operations.Manage and perform selling processes to effectively fit the customer’s use of the trailer with appropriate trailer, parts,and service provided by TrailersPlus.Ensure the store facility and grounds are maintained by cleaning and organizing the building, shop, and trailers, inorder to promote safety, security, and a professional appearance.Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all staff.Verify and perform proper invoicing of all trailers, parts, and labor.Ensure that all required paperwork associated with each sale is submitted to the appropriate state agencies andInterstate Group departments, accurately and in a timely manner.Attend and participate in all required team and company meetings.Obtain state and city vehicle sales licenses, where required by law.Ensure that all policies and procedures related to managing the facility’s keys are fully executed and enforced.Performs other duties as assigned.Responsible for generating leads in the local market.Ability to operate forklift and tractor. (Company certification required)Ability to operate power tools and welding equipment.
