Practice setting: high volume inpatient heart center Number of Operating Rooms: 30 Schedule: variable- 8,10,12 hour shiftsOn call: The call rotation is 1:5 with first call every eighth night, no second call. Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular, there is no OB or trauma. Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Cardiac Cases per day- 6-8 cases Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers Not accepting Locums candidatesALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia - REQUIREDECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained (to be complete prior to start) - REQUIREDCardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained - HIGHLY PREFERREDNY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIREDBLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start) - REQUIRED Certification RequirementsACLSBLS (AHA)Board CertifiedBoard EligiblePALSState License RequirementsNew YorkAdditional License RequirementsEcho Board Certified and/or Cardiac Fellowship-Trained
