About LoopLoop is a New York–based company working at the intersection of brands and the people they serve. Since 2016 we have built our business on direct, transparent relationships between companies and their customers. We are now establishing a corporate digital asset function, and we are hiring the person who will lead it.About the roleWe are looking for a Crypto Asset Manager to build and run Loop's corporate digital asset operations from the ground up.This is a corporate treasury role, not a client-facing one. You will manage Loop's own balance sheet assets only — we do not manage outside capital and you will not advise external clients or investors. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and own the strategy, custody architecture, controls, and reporting for the entire function.Because this function does not exist yet, the person we hire will define it: the custody model, the risk limits, the approval workflow, the reporting cadence, and the standards we hold ourselves to. We are looking for someone who treats that as the appealing part of the job.What you will doTreasury strategyDefine Loop's digital asset allocation policy and present it to the CFO and board for approvalManage the corporate portfolio within approved mandates and risk limitsProduce regular performance and exposure reporting for leadershipEvaluate yield-generating strategies and recommend only those consistent with our risk toleranceCustody and controlsSelect and implement the custody model, whether qualified custodian, multi-signature self-custody, or a combinationDesign key management, approval thresholds, and transaction authorization workflowsEstablish segregation of duties so that no single individual, including yourself, can move assets unilaterallyMaintain a full transaction audit trail and reconcile holdings on a defined scheduleCompliance and reportingKeep Loop's digital asset activity compliant with applicable federal and state requirementsWork with our external accountants on cost basis tracking, tax treatment, and year-end reportingMaintain written policies and procedures for the functionTrack regulatory developments and advise leadership on their impactInternal partnershipServe as Loop's internal subject matter expert on digital assetsBrief non-technical stakeholders clearly and without jargonCoordinate with outside counsel, tax advisors, and security consultantsDocument everything to a standard that survives an audit and a change of personnelWhat we are looking forRequired:Five or more years of professional experience in digital assets, in a treasury, portfolio management, or institutional trading capacityDirect responsibility for a meaningful portfolio, whether corporate, fund, or institutionalWorking knowledge of Bitcoin and Ethereum at a technical level, including the practical consequences of their differencesHands-on experience with institutional custody solutions and multi-signature architecturesFamiliarity with the US regulatory and tax treatment of digital assetsThe judgment to say no to a strategy that looks attractive but does not fit the mandateHelpful but not required:Background in traditional treasury, asset management, or audit before moving into digital assetsExperience standing up a new function rather than inheriting onePractical DeFi experience, including the failure modesCFA, CPA, or a comparable credentialCompensation and benefitsBase salary: $172,500 per yearPerformance bonus tied to defined objectives, not to short-term portfolio movesComprehensive health insurance: medical, dental, and vision, employer-funded401(k) with company matchingFully remote within the United States, with no relocation or office requirementAnnual budget for training, certifications, and conferencesPaid time offWorking at LoopThis is a remote role and we mean it. There is no hybrid expectation and no core-hours policy beyond reasonable overlap with US business hours.
