Your work ensures accurate, compliant technical data packages that support downstream manufacturing and review. This is an onsite role in Irvine, CA.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamCreate new 2D and 3D CAD drawings and revise existing mechanical, electrical, and electronic component documentsApply standard drafting procedures and techniques to produce technical data packagesUse CAD tools and office software to prepare supporting documentationCollaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members to clarify design intent and resolve issuesPrioritize workload to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy on repetitive tasksHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh school diploma or GED1 to 2 years of related drafting experience or trainingAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishProficiency with CAD concepts; prior SolidWorks experience preferredAbility to perform basic math and apply dimensioning/tolerancing standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detailMust meet U.S. export compliance and U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility (must be a US Citizen)Here's What Else Might Help You OutPost-high-school coursework in mechanical, electrical, or electronic draftingKnowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100Experience with SolidWorks PDM, AutoCAD, Visio, Excel, and WordPay Range$26.60- $30.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
