Details Work in a hospital Stepdown Intermediate Care unit with a progressive cardiac care focus Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow 28-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active IN or compact RN license required with Nursys verification Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH Stroke Scale certification required (update interval based on facility protocol) Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience Must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address Additional Information Responsibilities include caring for patients with complex cardiac and medical needs in a stepdown environment Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate based on radius rules that vary by state COVID vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023 Auto offer process in place for this assignment 2 professional references and a copy of your driver’s license are required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-673588.
