Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of High Risk Obstetrical Experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum) License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: High Risk Obstetrical Experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum) 2 Years of Hospital Experience BLS NRP AWHONN Description: Candidate must have Labor and Delivery or Antepartum experience. Unit focuses on High Risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum care. Experience with high acuity patients is preferred. Bed count in the unit is 19 with a patient ratio of 1:5. Documentation system used includes Meditech and CPIN. Shifts will be scheduled to fill vacancies and holiday requirements will be discussed during the interview process. Floating may be required as needed. Required skills include Magnesium Sulfate management and preterm labor management. Dress code includes Blue Insignia Scrubs. Candidates must maintain clean and healthy nail standards with no artificial nails. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors, and must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Additional enticing factors for the unit include newly renovated facilities.
