We are looking to recruit a highly organized, competent Quality Assurance / Quality Control professional, who will work closely with the 145 avionics repair station, Production Department, and Quality Manager. The Quality Control Inspector will perform visual, dimensional and lighting inspections of items that have been produced as well as repaired and modified avionics equipment. Attention to detail with a keen eye for high quality is a MUST. Candidate must be flexible enough to work with various departments, where normal conditions require the ability to multi-task under pressure. Our completed products are a direct reflection on both the individual filling this position, and ultimately our company, as the industry leader in NVG.
Qualifications:
Must have high school or equivalent education (minimum educational requirement).
Part 145 avionics experience is a plus
Prefer a candidate with aerospace background.
Proficient in basic drawing/specification interpretation.
Ability to review and understand third party standards (ANSI, SAE, MIL, ect.)
Familiar with FAA rules and regulations.
Ability to use calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word & Excel).
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers, especially the ability to listen and follow directions.
Must be able to work in professional team-oriented environment.
Organizational skills and detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Ensure company produced items conform to approved design data.
Perform in-process inspection of parts.
Analyze specifications and ensure quality workmanship.
Generate discrepancy reports for review by management.
Mark produced parts per FAA and company requirements.
Proof work for accuracy before passing on to others.
Follow policies and procedures outlined in company manuals.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
