Security provides quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation.This role is an onsite role, and the selected individual will be working as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (Security Specialist III/IV - CSSO) role and assisting with/addressing compliance of the SAP (Special Access Programs) as well as SCI programs. The CSSO is the primary interface with Aerospace Program Management and government agencies/customers regarding program security matters and requirements. Responsible for providing security support ensuring classified information is properly safeguarded and will provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in Crystal City, VA.What You'll Be DoingCoordinate with the PSO and GPM/CPM to create a secure environment for SAP operationsManage security operations within their assigned activity, organization, or officeWork with the ISSM/ISSO to safeguard Information Systems in the SAPCA and ensures adherence to any applicable laws as well as any SCI or SAP security policies and requirementsSupports enterprise SAP discussions and activities to comply with corporate and program expectations and requirements and assist other office locations as neededEstablish and conduct training for SAP-accessed individualsCoordinates initial access eligibility determinations and creates PARs or SCI nominationsMaintain personnel security records for SAP and SCI related programs to include the use of DISS, JADE, and other customer systems of recordConducts pre- and post-travel briefings and oversees foreign travel and contact reportingCoordinates the visitor control process for SAP meetingsProvides initial program indoctrination security briefing and security education / refreshers trainingConduct annual self-inspections and submit corrective action plansCreates, updates, and maintains SOPs for security policies unique to their facilities and SAPOversee transmission of SAP material using approved methodsProvide courier instructions and training to SAP-briefed couriersDevelop transportation plans and reproduction proceduresEstablish and ensure compliance with the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) programConduct briefings on reporting requirements and security incidentsMaintain administrative security documentation to include co-use/joint-use agreementsAssist the customer in the development of Program Protection PlansPrepare DD Form 254 and manage SAP material inventory and dispositionCoordinate any Physical Security program construction needs/modifications to the facility with direct supervisorWork with enterprise colleagues to balance multiple customer workloads and ensure coverageConduct security inquiries, identify suspected security infractions and violations, develop reports, and make recommendations to the government security team for corrective action(s)Develop, coordinate, submit for approval, and implement entry/exit inspection procedures for the facilityExecute and document completion of an annual physical inventory of Top-Secret material under the control of the facility's registryExecuting DoD and IC policies: Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4 (now, DoDM 5205.07 - DoD SAP Security Manual, dated 17 January 2025), ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor proceduresObtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agenciesWhat You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements for Security Specialist III - CSSO :6 or more years of relevant experience with High School DiplomaCurrent TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearancePrevious CSSO experienceWorking Knowledge of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals and ICD series manualsIn addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Security Specialist IV - CSSO include:8 or more years of relevant experience with High School DiplomaHow You Can Stand OutIt would be impressive if you have one or more of these:Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited collegeTS/SCI with adjudicated polygraphCDSE CertificationsCDSE SPeD CertificationsExperience with building and accrediting a SAPCAImpressive Security Compliance Inspection recordWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
