Backed by leading investors, the team is expanding its mobile engineering capabilities as they scale product offerings and grow their user base.The Role: As a Mobile Engineer, you’ll help shape and deliver a high-growth consumer-facing app for both iOS and Android. You’ll work closely with design and product to implement new features, improve performance, and ensure a smooth user experience. While the current app is built using Flutter, the team is open to strong mobile engineers with native iOS/Android or cross-platform experience who are excited to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment.This is a hybrid role based in NYC, with three days a week in-office, and a focus on thoughtful collaboration and product quality.Responsibilities include:Designing, developing, and shipping new mobile featuresCollaborating with design and product to build seamless user experiencesOptimizing performance and maintaining scalable mobile architectureWriting clean, testable code and participating in code reviewsMonitoring analytics and crash data to identify and resolve issuesContributing to CI/CD, testing, and release workflowsSupporting future web development efforts (Next.js) as neededRequirements:Experience in mobile development (Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, React Native, etc.)Proven track record of deploying apps to iOS and/or Android storesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, reactive programming, and mobile architecture patternsExposure to Figma or similar design toolsFlutter/Dart experience is a plus but not requiredExperience with Firebase, CI/CD, A/B testing, or AWS is a bonusStartup experience highly valued; big tech experience less prioritizedBachelor's in CS or related field preferredThe Benefits:Base salary of $135,000 – $170,000, plus equityFull benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Key Words:Mobile Engineering, iOS, Android, Flutter, Dart, React Native, Firebase, CI/CD, REST APIs, FinTech, AWS, Cross-Platform Development, Next.js, Figma, A/B Testing, Startup
