Logistics Specialist

Job Description Seeking Logistics Associates in Bensenville, IL. As a Road Logistics Specialist, you will manage the coordination of customer shipments using contracted rates and ensuring capacity with qualified carriers/partners. You will be part of a team responsible for coordinating transport activities by completing the necessary bookings with our partners and preparing the required documentation to ensure specific requirements are met (Transit Times, Carrier selection, Routings). Pay Rate:$17-$18Location: Bensenville, ILStart Date04/13/2026End Date04/19/2027Responsibilities• Communicate by email, and phone with shippers to confirm shipment information.• Dispatch pickups for each shipment.• Update missing shipment status.• Monitor shipments to ensure moving as scheduled.• Coordinate pickup/delivery appointments.• Manage overall customer service to ensure excellent customer relations. • Work directly with carriers (dry van, flatbed, & temp control) to ensure that loads are picked up and delivered.• You will communicate between the shipper, carrier, and customer to provide tactical solutions that improve the daily operations.Experience• Degree / Diploma: Supply Chain or Transportation• 1+ years of Transportation Experience.• 1+ years of Supply Chain Experience.• Knowledge of transportation industry systems.• Knowledge of industry-specific guidelines (dry van, reefer, flatbed, expedite, LTL).Company DescriptionThe professional staffing division of EmployBridge, America's Leading Workforce Specialist:When our Talent is looking for their next opportunity, we know they are not just looking for their next paycheck.
