Logistics CoordinatorThe Logistics Coordinator was responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods from origin to destination. This role ensured timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of products by working closely with carriers, vendors, warehouses, and internal teams. This is a great opportunity located near Schaumburg, IL.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinated domestic and/or international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.Scheduled pickups and deliveries with carriers and transportation providers.Prepared and processed shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.Tracked shipments and proactively communicated status updates and delays to stakeholders.Maintained accurate logistics and shipment records in internal systems.Resolved shipping issues, discrepancies, and delivery exceptions.Collaborated with warehouse, customer service, and supply chain teams to support daily operations.Assisted with freight claims, returns, and inventory coordination as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred.1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination preferred.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or transportation management systems.Job Details:Contract to Hire100% onsitePay $22-$26 an hour depending on experienceIf you are interested, please apply and submit your resume.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
