Entry Level Labor Compliance Analyst

Labor Compliance Consultants of Sothern California (LCCSC) is a certified DBE consulting firm that specializes in labor compliance for Public Works and Prevailing Wage projects. Construction companies and public agencies hire us to ensure that contractors complete the required documentation, and their workers are paid correctly according to State (DIR) and Federal (Davis-Bacon) laws. We are a small, fast-growing team that manages risk for multi-million dollar infrastructure projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver to join us as we scale.The RoleAs an Entry Level Labor Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for the intake, review, and management of certified payroll data. You do not need prior experience in construction as we will train you; but you must be able to identify and evaluate payroll issues, be comfortable with data and have proficient communication skills. Job Description:Training: attends prevailing wage workshops/webinars to learn and remain informed about any changes in prevailing wage laws.Data Intake: review and evaluate certified payroll reports (CPRs) against wage determinations for each worker classification, their required forms, Fringe and Training Payments for each contractor. This includes checking for Mathematical accuracy in wage rates, gross pay, deductions and net payUnderpayments/discrepanciesApprenticeship Standards: DAS 140 and 142 with proof of submission for each worker classification and correct apprentice-journeyman ratios.System Management: Review paystubs and timecards to create A-1-131 payroll reports in Adobe Acrobat and upload data into compliance software such as the DIR, LCP Tracker, Elations, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Communication: Send emails to contractors requesting documentation, corrections, restitution and asking questions for clarification.
