Plumber (Historic Infrastructure + Water Systems Specialist)Location: Lakewood, COSalary: $72,500 per yearRMCAD is seeking a Plumber (Historic Infrastructure + Water Systems Specialist) to maintain and optimize mechanical and plumbing systems across campus, with specialized responsibility for potable water systems, wells, and treatment processes.Essential ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair plumbing, hydronic, and mechanical systemsPerform retrofits on aging infrastructureOperate and monitor potable well systems, storage, and treatment processesEnsure compliance with EPA, state, and local water quality regulationsSupport HVAC/mechanical equipment (pumps, piping systems)Maintain inspection and compliance documentationMinimum QualificationsLicensed Journeyman Plumber (Colorado preferred)5+ years of plumbing/mechanical experienceExperience with water systems and infrastructure troubleshootingValid driver’s licensePrefered QualificationsExperience with well systems, water treatment, or tower systemsKnowledge of HVAC/mechanical systems integrationBackflow certificationWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:The noise level in the work environment can be loud enough that personal protective equipment should be worn. Some exposure to temperature extremes. Can be wet and/or humid.
