Program Manager – LogisticsUses established project management methodologies/tools to develop and execute Technology project plans.Specific Responsibilities:Using established project management methodology/tools, develops project plans for highly complex projects of strategic importance which include work plans, schedules, budgets, needed skills and resources, project scope and deliverable/responsibility matricesPerforms variance analysis (including schedule, costs vs. budgets, resources and changes to scope). Makes trade-offs with sponsor, as necessaryPerforms project risk assessment quantification, response planning and controlCommunicates risks to clients and/or IT management, project sponsors & vendorsDevelops and executes mitigation strategiesValidates client and functional requirements for sponsorDetermines the impact on current/existing technologies and communicates impact to clients, sponsor, IT management and vendorMakes recommendations on existing application products that could address client requirementsEvaluates alternative operational efficiencies /business process changeMakes presentations to IT management, sponsors, and/or vendorsAccountable for pre and post implementation plansProvides work direction to project managersWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsExercises strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsOrchestrates and recommends Program strategyAble to discern and clearly articulate how program decisions impact the big picture and vice versaFrequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group IC'S/managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or internal customersMay interact with business leadership at all levelsNetworks with key contacts outside own area of expertiseCoaches, mentors, and trains as appropriateContributes to performance appraisals for team membersAssists in conducting team building/development activitiesReceives limited instruction in determining methods and procedures on new assignments, and coordinates activities of other associates in groupCompensation, Benefits and Duration:Minimum Compensation: USD 49,000Maximum Compensation: USD 173,000Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate.
