Role description Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Architect Location: Raritan, NJ (Remote) Job Description:Lead the definition and evolution of the endtoend business architecture for the futurestate supply chain including capability model process hierarchy and operating principlesDefine and maintain the enterprise capability framework including ownership scope and interaction of key logistics capabilities across the value chainEstablish global standards for business processes and operating models ensuring consistency across regions site types and partner configurationsDefine integration points across capabilities eg OTC warehouse operations transport execution ensuring seamless endtoend process flowProvide architectural oversight across capability areas eg Outbound Freight Warehouse Operations ensuring alignment and avoidance of fragmentation or duplicationPartner with Systems Strategy and IT teams to ensure alignment between business architecture and systems architecture including translation of capabilities into system requirementsCollaborate with Network Design and Value Assurance teams to ensure business architecture assumptions are reflected in network decisions and business casesSupport Partner Management and Procurement teams to ensure alignment between business architecture and 3PL partner operating models and contractual frameworksDefine deployment principles and guardrails to ensure consistent implementation of capabilities across regions and sitesDrive governance of business architecture including review of capability designs escalation of deviations and alignment of crossfunctional decisionsIdentify gaps inefficiencies and inconsistencies in current processes and capabilities and drive continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain documentation playbooks and standards to support scalability and repeatability of the business architecture EDUCATION EXPERIENCEA minimum of a Bachelors degree is requiredA Masters degree or MBA in Supply Chain Operations Engineering or a related field is preferredExperience and functional competenciesMinimum 10 to 14 years of relevant experience in supply chain logistics strategy or operating model design with demonstrated ownership of endtoend process or capability architectureStrong understanding of distribution networks warehouse operations transportation execution and Order to Cash processesExperience defining operating models capability frameworks or process architectures in complex multiregion environmentsExperience working within or alongside 3PLoperated logistics environments and assetlight operating modelsStrong understanding of integration between business processes and systems ERP WMS transport systemsProven ability to work across functions Operations IT Finance Procurement and align stakeholders without direct authorityStrong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate highlevel objectives into structured capability frameworksExperience supporting largescale transformation programs and aligning multiple workstreams under a unified architectureExcellent communication skills with ability to synthesize complex topics into clear structured narratives for senior stakeholders LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:Live Our Credo Demonstrates and inspires the behaviors that reinforce Our CredoConnect Cultivates meaningful external relationships and partnerships outside of JJ adding value and insights for the enterprise leverages insights to proactively uncover critical unmet needs and turn them into new opportunitiesShape Translates insights into innovative and viable products or solutions creating value challenges the status quo and leads change management activities creating positive change takes and properly manages risks while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance contributing to value creationLead Takes ownership for talent acquisition performance and development in a way that enhances the performance and development of self and others maximizes and leverages diverse perspectives backgrounds and talent to generate innovative ideas or solutions to address organizational challenges engages in and encourages others to have transparent and constructive conversations and encourages others contributing to a highperforming organizationDeliver Empowers people to act with speed agility and accountability enabling them to achieve organizational goals and strategies makes decisions and takes actions based on a global and enterprisewide mindset that adds value across the enterprise balances short and longterm strategic choices positions the organization
