You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.ResponsibilitiesDevelop implementation plans for review by senior managerWork independently to identify required tasks and initiate activity Supervise and guide less senior project staff in implementation of the work Serve as the client's onsite point of contact for related work Facilitate project meetings with client, vendors, move coordinators, etc. Develop information for review by more senior staff before presentation to owner for decision making Implement the Furniture, Fixture and Equipment Plan Develop monthly report for review by more senior staff prior to submission Prepare scopes of work for competitive procurements Monitor adherence to contract Provide input into and participate in performance reviews, as requested Act as owner's representative in managing onsite vendors during activation and move timeframesQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION BS or MS degree in related field 3-5 years of project management experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access) Excellent listening skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Construction document and drawing literate Knowledge of BIM360, CADD, Bluebeam Ability to travel and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. For Fairfax, Falls Church and Arlington, VA this ranges from $65,000.00-$94,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
