Within the Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting team, the SEC Reporting Manager is responsible for leading significant aspects of the Company’s external financial reporting, including the preparation and review of external financial statements and SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements. The role owns the integration of accounting conclusions into high‑quality, compliant external disclosures and filings and serves as a key leader across Controllership and senior finance stakeholders. This position offers high visibility and the opportunity to lead, develop, and coach a growing team during a period of significant organizational change.What You’ll DoLead the preparation of external financial statements and related footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAP and applicable Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations in conjunction with SEC filings.Lead, coach, and develop a team of External Reporting analysts.Research, draft, and refine external disclosures for quarterly and annual filings, including ongoing monitoring of evolving disclosure expectations.Monitor new disclosure requirements, perform impact assessments, and coordinate implementation into accounting policies and external reporting.Direct and analyze benchmarking of peer and other public company disclosuresSupport the Investor Relations team with earnings releases & non-GAAP measures reporting.Oversee Workiva‑based reporting processes, including XBRL tagging, as applicable.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors in connection with quarterly reviews, annual audits, and disclosure matters.Support the preparation of reporting-related materials provided to senior leadership and other internal stakeholdersSupport documentation, execution, and maintenance of SOX controls related to external reporting responsibilities.Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including close procedures, financial analyses, and other closing-related support as needed.Manage ESG reporting requirements, including coordination with the Sustainability team, preparation and/or review of related reporting deliverables, and responding to external auditor requests.What Skills You NeedBS in Accounting / FinanceCPA requiredStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements7+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or relevant industry experience in external reportingStrong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility to support critical close and filing deadlines, including outside of standard business hours (e.g., evenings or weekends) as needed.Ability to work effectively in teams and interact with all levels of the organizationProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Workiva financial reporting experience a plusNo visa sponsorship is available for this position.Benefits – How We’ll Support YouNumerous development opportunities offered to build your skillsBe part of a company with a higher purpose and contribute to making the world a better placeHealth benefits for you and your family on your first day of employmentFour weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidaysExcellent parental leave which includes a minimum of 16 weeks for mother and fatherFuture planning with our competitive retirement savings plan and tuition reimbursement programLearn more about our total rewards package here - Corteva BenefitsCheck out life at Corteva! www.linkedin.com/company/corteva/lifeAre you a good match?
