Talent Recruiting Senior Coordinator
The Talent Recruiting Senior Coordinator supports full-cycle recruitment for the Philadelphia office, with a primary focus on summer associate recruiting and program administration. This role partners closely with hiring managers, the Talent team, and practice group leadership to attract, engage, and hire top talent. The Senior Coordinator will also provide support for hiring business services professionals, as well as lateral associates and counsel, as needed.Summer Associate Recruiting & ProgramCoordinate the campus interviewing program, including autonomously screening resumes, coordinating interview schedules, collecting interview feedback and acting as liaison to candidates throughout the interview processAssist with the design and coordination of the summer associate program for Philadelphia, including organizing and attending social events and supporting the training calendarLead the callback process for Philadelphia, organizing and confirming interview schedules and arrangements, follow-up meetings and related eventsManage the post-offer process, including attorney follow-up and coordination of offer dinners and return visits for candidatesPrepare materials and statistics for weekly hiring committee and summer committee meetingsFacilitate offer letters and onboarding documents; record and maintain all candidate data in applicant tracking systemCollaborate with lawyers on the summer committees to ensure summer associates receive the appropriate number of assignments and receive feedback from attorneys, including arranging of mid and end of season reviewsGeneral Recruiting & AdministrationSupport recruiting efforts across lateral associate, counsel and business services professional hiring, as neededSource candidates, review resumes, coordinate interview scheduling, collect feedback and track all candidates through the recruiting processCollaborate with operations teams, to support diligence and onboarding of new hiresMaintain candidate tracking systems and ensure adherence to file retention policiesAssist with updating recruiting materials, including the NALP form, LinkedIn and the firm websiteStay current on legal hiring market trends and contribute to process improvement effortsQUALIFICATIONS / KSAsBachelor's degree required3+ years of law firm or professional services recruiting experience, preferably including summer associate, Business Services Professional (BSP) or lateral hiringSystems required: LawCruit or ViRecruit, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelStrong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail; highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasksAbility to work independently and to prioritize and coordinate own workAbility to communicate professionally and diplomatically with professionals at all organizational levels of the firmAbility to function in a collaborative organization on a fast-paced and energetic recruiting teamDisplay a positive, high-energy attitudeAbility to maintain confidentialitySome travel is requiredPHYSICAL EFFORT / WORK CONDITIONS This position operates in a professional office environment which is generally free of hazards and exposure to adverse environmental conditions.This position requires regular attendance on-site at a Dechert location.This position routinely operates standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopy machines, fax machines and filing cabinets, and requires frequent communication with the firm’s employees and partners as well as third parties.This position is mainly sedentary.
