Production Foreman - Belt Supervisor

JOB LOCATION: Canyon Fuel Company - Sufco MineOVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the safe and efficient production of coal by maximizing the effective utilization of the resources provided.Responsibilities IncludeSupervise and provide direction to hourly employees in continuous miner or longwall production and/or utility work.Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate with Shift Coordinator all mining and/or utility projects.Supervise all aspects of safe and efficient production of coal and/or utility work.Implement and maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Task training of personnel as required.Preferred Education & Experience Minimum of five (5) years of underground coal mining experience Mining engineering degree will substitute for mining experience Previous supervisory experience preferred Computer skills including Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communications skills, both written and oral Excellent safety and attendance record Utah Mine Foreman CertificationPOSITION WILL REPORT TO: Shift CoordinatorWolverine Fuels offers a competitive benefits package including Medical with an HSA, Dental, Vision, Rx, Company provided life and AD&D, Paid Holiday/Vacations, and EAP along with a 401K and a 6% company match.
