About this Role This is a chance to work at the forefront of AI-driven systems. As a Software Engineer on our agentic AI platform team, you9ll help build and advance a platform designed to power intelligent, autonomous workflows in complex operational environments. You9ll integrate diverse data sources and external APIs using MCP tools, and you9ll work with cyber analysts to translate operational challenges into technical solutions. From designing stream processing pipelines to crafting agentic primitives like skills, prompts, and subagents, your work will shape how intelligent agents operate, learn, and deliver mission value.
This role is based in Columbia, MD.
Requirements 3 years of software development experience with strong Python proficiency, or 7 years of experience in lieu of a B.S. in a technical discipline
Hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications that serve hundreds to thousands of users
Solid understanding of AI development concepts, including prompt engineering, context management, structured outputs, and tool/function calling
Experience developing resilient, scalable stream processing applications using modern messaging and event-streaming platforms
Experience leveraging AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and automation
Preferred Skills Experience with agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration using frameworks such as PydanticAI, LangGraph, or DeepAgents
Background in cybersecurity or familiarity with security operations workflows
Experience managing deployments in AWS Cloud with Kubernetes
GitLab CI/CD automation
Experience with retrieval systems, including RAG, vector databases, and semantic search
Experience analyzing cybersecurity-related datasets such as network traffic and OS events
Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations

Salary Range $197,500 – $232,500
This range includes our flex income and depends on annual work hours. Salary is determined on an individual basis after the interview, considering experience, skills, education, and certifications.
