SummaryJob DescriptionJob DescriptionPlan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):Review project documents, budget, schedule, and understand scope.Maintains strong standing relationships with clients and coworkers.Assist and/or perform buyout of materials, equipment, & subcontracts.Create and submit a schedule of values for billing.Review and approve field material orders.Review and approve material, equipment, and subcontractor submittals.Issue current project documents to field employees.Track material and equipment lead times to meet schedule.Review project with Pre-Construction Manager, Supervision, QA/QC, Safety, CAD/BIM, and Purchasing.Review manpower requirements and update schedule as needed. Track labor hours/costs, material dollars spent, and subcontractor progress/costs.Coordinate labor adjustments with field superintendents and other staff as required.Submit change orders for additional work as required.Issue requests for information (RFI) as required.Respond to RFIs from other project stakeholders.Visit jobsites regularly with project stakeholders via email, phone, or in person.Submit monthly progress payment applications.Perform month estimated cost at completion (ECAC) reportsMaintain electronic records off all key project documents including but not limited to: change orders, RFIs, daily field reports, startup forms, WIP reports, monthly billings, purchase orders, vendor quotes, submittals, etc.Attend meetings (both in the office and on jobsites).Maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervise work through the planning and scheduling of work, and the review and approval of tasks.
