The technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation. Duties include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, repairing machinery, and collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with safety protocols and maintaining accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance activities. Working hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm and occasionally some weekends.QualificationsExperience in repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsProficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to equipment malfunctionsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for repair and maintenanceStrong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environmentAttention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience with food manufacturing or packaging equipment (preferred, but not required)High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field is a plus.Must have mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
