Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of MySQL databases, including architecture design, installation, configuration, and performance tuning. You will ensure high availability and reliability of MySQL clusters by performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will collaborate with service consumers to optimize database design and queries, manage replication and monitoring using tools like Percona Monitoring, and execute automation scripts to streamline operations.In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for MySQL, providing support and resolving issues related to service and performance. You will participate in on-call rotations and handle administrative tasks including user management, security adjustments, backup/recovery, and service ticket resolution.
