IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time Pre-Fabrication Electrician/Welder in Richmond, Virginia.Job SummaryWorks in Pre-Fab Shop performing installations, welding, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial electrical construction industryMeasure, layout, hang, thread pipe, solder/braze pipe and set mechancial equipmentWorks from all types of laddersComplies with all company and customer safety policies and proceduresMaintains Master Inventory List of all materials inbound and outbound and keeps shop supervisor apprised of inventory levels per respective assignmentsAdvises Project Managers, Superintendents, Service Technicians, and Estimators of material order statusesTravel may be required.Qualifications2 years recent related commercial electrical experience or equivalent education2 years welding experience preferredExperience reading fabrication drawings and blueprintsDemonstrated knowledge of computers and MS Office for the purpose of entering data and tracking materialsExperience bending pipe and running various types of conduit preferredHigh School Diploma/GEDOSHA 10 or ability to obtainSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.Company Overview: IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
