Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our San Francisco office. This roles offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on all phases of litigation, from case preparation through trial, while contributing to a collaborative environment.This is a full-time hybrid position, with an expectation of three days in the office per week and a 7.5-hour workday.Paralegal responsibilities include:Preparing legal documents, including appeals, complaints, discovery requests, motions, briefs, pretrial agreements, subpoenas, and summonses.Responding to discovery requests, propounding discovery, and working with eDiscovery platforms.Reviewing and summarizing complex claims files, depositions, and documents.Assisting lawyers with preparation for arbitration, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.Managing case files, documents, exhibits, and evidence.Assisting with insurance coverage related tasks, such as exposure models and policy review.Liaising with clients, court personnel, attorneys, and administrative staff.The successful candidate will also have:Superb research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and pride and ownership in their work productAbility to manage competing priorities and meet court deadlinesStrong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamQualificationsBachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate4 to 5+ years of experience as a paralegalExperience drafting, cite-checking, and correcting legal briefsWorking knowledge of case management software and Microsoft Office 365Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsFeatured BenefitsMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid parental leaveInterview Process TimelineApplicationOur team will review your application.
