Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift $26 to $29 per hour Leonard, MI Contract to Hire Position Summary: Responsible for maintenance of high-speed automated assembly machines. Also assists with maintenance of horizontal plastic injection molding machines. Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for demand and some preventive maintenance in assembly and molding.Communicates status of machine demand maintenance items with the operator and team leader to ensure safe operation of process and logical throughput.Consults with other maintenance personnel, maintenance team leader and engineering at appropriate intervals regarding machine downtime issues.Completes maintenance log daily regarding demand maintenance issues from the shift.Responsible for the improvement of O.E.E. numbers with a focus on minimizing machine downtime.Promotes an atmosphere conscience of health, safety and environmental practices, in support of the facility's HSE/EMS policies on a daily basis.Performs daily job duties to the objectives outlined in the Quality Policy.Understands and performs daily job duties in a manner which supports the Plant goals and Quality objectives.Education and Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED requiredStrong knowledge/background with pneumatics and electronics expertise is a plusPrevious machine maintenance experience preferred; knowledge of automation type equipment and vision systems preferredMechanical experience requiredPRO181 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
