Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description Location: Opelika, AL Full-time/first shift We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure smooth production. This person will manage a team of technicians, reduce downtime, and help improve overall equipment reliability. What You'll Be Doing Team LeadershipOversee daily maintenance activities and respond quickly to equipment issuesLead and develop a team of 10 to 20 techniciansAssign work orders and ensure tasks are completed on timeMaintain safety and compliance with OSHA and USDA standardsMaintenance & OperationsManage preventive maintenance schedules across equipment and systemsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtimeMonitor spare parts and inventoryProjects & PerformanceSupport and lead improvement projects to increase efficiencyTrack key metrics like downtime, costs, and completion ratesHelp manage maintenance budgetsCollaborationWork closely with production teams to keep operations running smoothlyCommunicate priorities, updates, and issues clearlyRequirements3 to 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentAt least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experienceHands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systemsAbility to read blueprints and technical documentsFamiliarity with OSHA and USDA regulationsStrong communication and team leadership skillsplease submit resume for immediate consideration: wendyc@selectek.net Wendy 678-802-6616 Meet Your Recruiter Wendy Colaiacovo
